Centlec has informed locals who reside in Universitas and Hilton that there will be a planned power interruption on 7 May from 09:00 to 16:00, to alternate on 9 May in Unversitas and on 14 May in Hilton, during the same time.
According to Centlec, “the shutdown is necessary for construction and/or maintenance upgrades on the network.”
Residents are urged to take note that power on their premises may be restored without warning at any time, residents should remain cautious and treat all installations as live and dangerous.
“Should your power not be interrupted within one hour of the scheduled starting time, please ignore the notice as the scheduled maintenance has then been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. You will receive another notice in due course,” said Centlec.

Breë, Oranje, Blignaut, Lombard, and Levy Streets

Paul Kruger, John Knox and Steven Streets
