Residents are to take note of planned power interruptions in various parts of the city this week.
According to Centlec, the interruption is for construction and/or maintenance upgrades on the network.
Areas affected include Namibia Square (5/11), Estoire (6/11), Shannon and Pine Haven in Bloemspruit (7/11), and Denne Avenue in Bloemspruit (12/11).
These interruptions will take place from 09:00 to 16:00, and are set to alternate on different days.
Centlec said that the power could be restored without warning at any time during the shutdown period. Residents are therefore encouraged to treat all installations as live and dangerous.
