Residents from Kelly’s View and Quaggafontein will have a planned power interruption from 09:00 to 16:00 on 17 December.
According to Centlec, the interruption is necessary for maintenance and upgrades on the network.
“The power may be restored without warning at any time during the shutdown period, and all installations must therefore be treated as live and dangerous,” Centlec advised.
If the power is not switched off within an hour of the scheduled start time, the planned maintenance has been delayed due to unforeseen issues, and a new notice will be issued.
