The ANC in Mangaung, Free State, rubbished claims that one of their councillors in Ward 12, Caleb Motshabi, has been arrested in connection with the murder of three people in the area, including a man said to be a supporter of the DA.
OFM News earlier reported that two people were found dead in the area, with a third person who was critically injured and has since died. The ANC in the region’s Lulama Titi says she spoke to the councillor accused of the murder and confirmed that no arrests have been made.
Meanwhile, police spokesperson in the Free State, Thandi Mbambo, also confirmed to OFM News that no arrests have been made with regards to the murders, however, investigations into the matter continue.
