Residents in the southern suburbs of Bloemfontein can now expect a bigger and better shopping experience as Phase 3 of the mall is being unveiled tomorrow, Thursday 1 August 2019. Construction of the new phase, adding 6 000 m², has taken 12 months. It is seeing the mall grow in size from approximately 24 000m² to 30 000 m².
Fleurdal Mall is anchored by Checkers Hyper, House & Home and Checkers LiquorShop. The mall currently has a wide variety of shops ranging from well-known national retail outlets to an impressive mix of speciality stores.
“We’ve added a Woolworths, a Dis-Chem, a new Hi-Fi Corporation, a Mr Price Sport and a new Markhams,” said Investec Property Retail Sector Head, Burger Bothma, in announcing shops that have been added to the mall.
“We always try to give the consumer a bigger variety and to make it convenient for them to shop at Fleurdal Mall, where they can have a one-stop shop to get everything they need,” said Bothma.
There is additional parking next to the mall, closer to the extended parking, near the church.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony will be tomorrow, Thursday 1 August 2019.
