GALOOME SHOPANE 18-year-old murder accused, Likunye Morakanyana from Botshabelo, made his first court appearance at the Botshabelo Magistrate’s court today.
Morakanyana handed himself over to police on Wednesday, accompanied by his lawyer, says police spokesperson Tseko Mokhatle.
Police had issued a R10 000 reward for whoever could help with Morakanyana’s whereabouts after he failed to appear in court for a possession of an unlicensed firearm and disappeared after he allegedly fatally shot a 32-year-old man with another unlicensed firearm.
His bail hearing will be next week Friday.
