Three men were arrested in Bultfontein after being found slaughtering suspected stolen sheep.
On Sunday 21 December 2014 members of Relief D, Constables Khazamula Masilane and Lebogang Kotwana were on patrol when they received information relating to stock theft around 22:00.
On arrival at the identified shack in Mookodi section of Phahameng, Bultfontein, they found three men busy slaughtering a sheep with three already slaughtered. The stock is valued at around R6000.00. The men could not produce any documentation for the stock and could not explain where or who they got the sheep from.
The suspects aged 28, 30 and 32 were arrested and detained. They are charged with possession of suspected stolen stock product. They will appear in court soon.
It is suspected that the sheep maybe stolen in the Dealesville area and that the owner/s is not yet aware that sheep had gone missing from their kraals. If any farmer has any Marino sheep that is missing should please to contact Detective Constable Malinga on 082-389-5177.
