Romantic link at centre of #MokoenaMurder

A romantic link allegedly between the two suspects in the murder of Bloemfontein businessman, Ntau Lucas Mokoena, now lies at the centre of the case.

This as the second suspect in the much-publicised matter, Elvis Sonnyboy Galeboe, made his first appearance in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Monday 5 August.

Galeboe, a pastor, is believed to be accused number one and the deceased’s wife’s secret lover. He was arrested on Friday 2 August 2019 by the police while on his way to Bloemfontein from East London in the Eastern Cape. He will reappear in court on Thursday 8 August, with his alleged accomplice and lover, 51-year-old Kelebogile Mokoena.

Mokoena abandoned her bail application on July 18, as it was revealed during her court appearances that she not only hired the hitmen, paying them partly for the murder, but she allegedly poisoned her own dogs to make it easier for the trio to gain access into the couple’s Fichardt Park home on the night of July 8. The deceased was shot in the head by the hitmen.
