Thuso Feeds, a successful feed mill in Bothaville, requires the professional services of a PRODUCTION MANAGER.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the total production.
REQUIREMENTS:
Management and supervisiory skills, a NQF level 4 qualification as well as five (5) years relevant experience, with the following:
- Applicable experience in a feed mill
- Applicable management experience in a feed mill
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
DUTIES:
- Production planning
- Effective and accurate production
- Effective and accurate packaging
- Quality control
- Application of health and safety
- Application of bio-security
- Communication with other departments (internal and external)
- Stock control and reporting of raw material
- Management of production and shift personnel
- Administrative tasks related to the position
