Residents of the Mangaung Metro are again urged to brace for possible shutdowns and restrictions of water supply to communities this week.
According to the Mangaung Metro Municipality, the City has embarked on the cleaning and maintenance of reservoirs across all regions.
“All residents, businesses, and consumers in the affected areas are kindly requested to make the necessary arrangements for gathering water for cooking, washing, cleaning, etc. for that period.”
According to a statement by the Mangaung Metro Municipality, “this is an operational programme to ensure that water supplied to the Mangaung community is of high quality and complies with drinking water quality standards for human consumption.”
The second phase of maintenance is scheduled as:
“Mangaung Metro would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.”
