Centlec announced that Mangaung is currently experiencing stage one of load shedding.
According to spokesperson Seipati Seitai, load shedding will commerce till four o’clock this afternoon. She said the stage one affects a quarter of the population which are based under Centlec’s group three categories.
“People can just follow the statement that we have placed from our website as well as our Facebook link. Those who are affected from group three we have Pellissier, Willows, Limousine as well as Arcadia. Those areas include part of Universitas, Fichardt Park, Rosepark hospital and Tempe Airport,” she said.
Setai said Centlec cannot predict future load shedding incidents later on the day as they are reacting on Eskom’s request. She pleaded with residents to save electricity by using windows to cool off instead of aircons and switching off their swimming pool pumps.
