FS Provincial Government hosts Youth Expo

Today is the second day of the Youth Expo, hosted by the Free State Provincial Government in Botshabelo. The event, which commenced yesterday (7/3), continues to draw young attendees from across the province.

Taking place at the Simson Sefuthi Community Hall from 09:00, the event will see the participation of high-level government officials, including Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Mr Seiso Mohai, Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration, Ms Pinky Kekana, Deputy Minister of Employment and Labour, Ms Judith Nemadzinga‐Tshabalala, Free State Premier, Ms MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae, and Mangaung Executive Mayor, Cllr Gregory Nthatisi.

According to a statement released by the Free State Premier’s office, the expo aims to empower the province’s youth by bringing together stakeholders from government, business, and civil society. The young people attending will benefit from interactive exhibitions, skills development workshops, motivational talks, and valuable information on education, entrepreneurship, digital innovation, and employment opportunities.

With youth unemployment and disconnection from economic opportunities a growing concern, the expo offers a timely and action-oriented platform for youth to engage, learn, and be inspired to actively shape their future and that of their metro.
