Three males together with one female were arrested in Phiritona Heilbron, for the possession of drugs and platinum soil on Tuesday, 19 May 2020.
This comes after the Welkom Public Order Police Reaction Team received information aboute someone dealing in drugs at a house in Marantha Section, Heilbron.
According to a statement by the Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, the police then followed up on the information. Upon arrival the house was searched which led to the arrest of the four suspects aged between 28 and 29. One of the suspects is a Lesotho national.
Police confiscated 762 packets of nyaope weighing 439g, 174 packets of dagga weighing 455g, a plastic bag of platinum soil weighing 716g and an undisclosed amount of money.
The four suspects will appear in the Heilbron Magistrates Court on Friday 22 May 2020.
