A 26-year-old woman has been arrested in Phahameng, Bultfontein, for the alleged fatal stabbing of her boyfriend following an argument.
According to the police spokesperson, Sergeant Palesa Thabana, police in Bultfontein were called to the scene of the incident at around 20:30 on Sunday (29/6).
“Upon arrival at the scene, members discovered an adult male lying on the ground with a stab wound on the left side of his chest,” stated the spokesperson. “It is alleged that the 34-year-old male victim was fatally stabbed with a knife by his girlfriend after an argument erupted between them.”
Police confiscated the knife believed to have been used, and arrested the suspect. She will appear in the Bultfontein Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 1 July.
