Six suspects, aged between 22 and 31, are expected to appear soon in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on charges of murder following the death of a 40-year-old man in Bochabela.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Sinah Mpakane, Mangaung police responded to a call at around 4:08 on 28 April 2025 and discovered the body of Tshepo Mosola in the street near Hostel 1. The victim had sustained stab wounds to the chest and a severe head injury.
It is alleged that the suspects confronted Mosola, accusing him of attempting to rape one of them, before attacking him with both a sharp and a blunt object. The suspects were arrested at the scene and investigations are ongoing.
