A historic building located in Raymond Mhlaba street in Bloemfontein caught fire and was completely damaged from the inside yesterday afternoon. Fire fighters arrived on the scene just before 17:00 and the building was declared unstable after the blaze was put out. Residents in the area indicated that the fire brigade arrived when the roof of the house had already collapsed. The exact cause of the fire still unknown and investigations into the blaze will be conducted.
