The scrumhalf, Rudy Paige, is back in the Toyota Free State XV’s starting line-up for their SuperSport Rugby Challenge against the Leopards on Friday.
Paige was on the bench against the Griffons a week ago. Lloyd Greeff moves from the wing to centre, while Darren Adonis returns from injury.
Ruan van Rensburg who was the starting halfback last week, moves to the right wing.
Upfront Louis Conradie gets a start in the second-row and he will partner Stephan Malan. Ntokozo Vidima starts on the flank and this sees the captain, Niell Jordaan, moving to the back of the scrum, while Gerhard Olivier switches sides.
The impressive Jasper Wiese has been moved to the bench.
The Free State are still unbeaten after five rounds in the competition.
Friday afternoons’ match at the Fanie du Toit Sports Grounds kicks off at 15:00.
