There is a new kid on the block as far as local fashion events are concerned.
The Heidedal Fashion Weekend (HFW2018), which will be held for the first time during the weekend of 21 April in Heidedal, is expected to become a favourite on the annual social calender of the City of Roses.
Yolande Macalagh, owner of E-models Heidedal and organiser of the event, says HFW2018 will be the first fashion event of its kind to be hosted in Heidedal.
“The purpose of the fashion event is to give up-and-coming designers, brand owners, fashion stylists and models with no experience the opportunity to take their first big step in the fashion industry. This event will also serve as preparation for participation in the Free State Fashion Week 2018,” says Macalagh.
A new pageant, Face of Heidedal, started by Macalagh’s daughter, Tatum, as an entrepreneurial project for Miss Free State Teen 2018, will also form part of the HFW2018.
The Top 6 contestants of Face of Heidedal 2018 has been chosen at the Bon Hotel recently. The winner of Face of Heidedal 2018 will be announced at the HFW2018 on 21 April 2018.
