DUANE PETRUS
A puddle of water on the road leading to the Bainsvlei Combined School outside Bloemfontein will disappear soon.
Pupils previously had to navigate their way through these water pools to get to school, resulting in them taking different routes.
People transporting pupils from home to school are currently also making use of alternative routes to avoid their cars getting stuck there.
Courant received a complaint that the water had been there for months due to a burst pipe in the area.
The school’s principal, Mr Seheri, said they reported the matter to the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality and it was fixed yesterday.
