Police in Bainsvlei are searching for 37-year-old Suzan Strydom who went missing with her 2-year-old daughter from their home in Bloemfontein on Saturday morning.
It is alleged that the mother arrived in Bloemfontein from Cape Town on Friday, 19 May 2017 night, in her Red Chevrolet Spark. The 37-year-old mother was in Cape Town for mental observation for a period of time and the child was staying with the father in Bloemfontein during her absence.
On Saturday, 20 May 2017, at around 05:30 the husband realized that his wife had disappeared together with their 2-year-old daughter. The woman’s vehicle with registration number CF193-503, was also missing. The startled husband and he reported the matter at the Bainsvlei Police station.
It is alleged that the 37-year-old lady is armed and the public should approach with caution as she might be mentally unstable.
