The Jozi-hailing eclectic jazz outfit, The Muffinz, will be performing in Bloemfontein on Friday, 1 June 2018. Through a partnership between promoter Lesley Jennings, Ultimate Concerts and Reizis Square, gates will be opening at 17:00 for a jazz experience like no other.
The Muffinz’ music can be described as new, soulful, accessible, honest and innocent, making it appealing to all age groups, races, classes and sexes. This soulful collective has more than a few accolades to brag about, with no less than five South African Music Awards (Sama) nominations under their belts and two full-length albums, including a 2012 Metro FM Award for Best Group.
Catch them live in your city, as they stop over in Bloemfontein as part of their national tour. This concert promises to be one to remember, with a really intimate setting, good food on sale, the opening act of Naledi Mohapi, a local artist who forms part of the boy band Simpl3 Stori3s, setting the tone for an amazing performance by the visiting band.
Where will this happen? Reizis Square is that trendy spot off Kenneth Kaunda Road, where the Neighbourhood Nite Market happens every month. Dress warm, bring a blankie if you’d like, it will be a comfortable and warm evening, perfect for an outing with friends, family or that special person you’ve wanted to impress with a fab night out.
