FS trio arrested on charges of dealing in dagga

On Friday, 10 December, an intelligent-driven operation was conducted in Moemaneng near Marquard when three people were successfully arrested for allegedly dealing in dagga.

According Brigadier Motantsi Makhele, the station commander and his members arrested three suspects aged between 30 and 37 for dealing in dagga. “Plastic bags containing loose dagga weighing a total of 5,2 kg and an estimated street value of R5000 were seized by police,” he said.

The three suspects appeared before Marquard District Court on Monday, 13 December, facing charges of dealing in dagga.
