This tour comes as the City of Roses is hosting an event that has made its mark on the country’s tourism calendar, namely Macufe.
Kgotso Tau, spokesperson of the Department of Small Business Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs, says the tour started at College Square, Bloemfontein, and moved along the city’s monuments and social spaces of note. The premier will feast and talk to revellers who came to the city mainly for Macufe.
Police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, says since its launch on 4 October 2019 no incidents at the event have been reported to the SAPS.
