An accident on the N1 between Ventersburg and Winburg in the Free State has claimed a life and left scores injured.
Emergency Medical Service’s spokesperson, Sipho Towa, confirms five people have been transported to Katleho Hospital in Virginia. He says one person was declared dead at the scene after a light motor vehicle overturned. Towa adds that three of the five transported for medical treatment, were children. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
