The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) has made a call to filmmakers and Gender Based Violence (GBV) activists to apply for funding to host public film screenings that raise awareness on GBV.
Applications are open from 21 May to 30 June 2025 and the screening period will start from 25 November to 31 January 2025.
According to NFVF the funding can be capped up to R150 000 per approved proposal. The focus will be on applicants that will screen South African films that spark healing, dialogue and change.
Eligible Tiers:
- Tier 2: 5-10 years experience
- Tier 3: Less than 5 years experience
