“Everyone has the ability and the responsibility to change the world for the better.” – Nelson Mandela

In the cold early morning hours of Nelson Mandela Day OFM presenters Duncan Bayne and Martin van der Merwe, are broadcasting live outside the Central Media Building.  Why, you may ask. The reason behind this is to help the less fortunate to keep warm this winter by donating blankets.

Bayne said, “The reason why we are broadcasting outside in the cold is to get a better idea of what people who don’t have the privilege of being warm during the winter are going through. Instead of giving back to the less fortunate for 67 minutes, Van der Merwe and Bayne have decided to broadcast out in the cold for three hours.

So tune in on OFM and enjoy the live broadcast outside Central Media Park, Christo Groenewald Street, Bloemfontein.

Join OFM on this Nelson Mandela International Day (18 July 2017) and help warm Central South Africa by participating in OFM’s blanket drive in aid of Child Welfare.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” – Nelson Mandela
