The Economic Freedom Fighters in the Free State say it is time for the dominating race in the country to take what rightfully belongs to them.
According to EFF’s Jacob Tshabalala they are going to change the lives of residents for the better by creating permanent jobs without tendering systems and eliminating the medical aid system. Tshabalala was speaking at the EFF press conference in Bloemfontein last week.
Mandisa Makesini was introduced as EFF’s provincial premier candidate along with 29 other members whose names were submitted to the IEC for the upcoming general elections. Makesini was adamant that they would govern the country. She said when the ANC distributed its red berets it popularised the EFF.
“After the beret incident, many people wanted to know where they could get the berets and what their significance was. Members of the public witnessed the confusion of the ANC for trying to emulate the EFF. At the end most political parties are now wearing berets,” she said. Makesini said nationalisation and funding of tertiary studies will tackle the high unemployment rate in the province.
“In this province more than 60% of Small Medium Enterprises close down in less than two years, many young people are secluded from the economy of the province due to the preference of established politically connected companies from Johannesburg. These companies are preferred because they pay a lot of money to corrupt leaders in the province led by Ace Magashule,” added Makesini.
Provincial spokesperson Lucky Mongale said they plan to revive abolished factories in Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu to start producing locally.
He said once each resident is economically free, racism will fade away.
