Heidi Tromp-Buys, author of the book Have a Great Gut Feeling, husband, Jobert Buys, and mother, Anita Tromp, would like to introduce themselves to the world as the experts on the brain-gut connection. “Brain-gut Solutions: Have a Great Gut Feeling is a very informative book that you can immediately adopt and apply daily,” said Buys.

Heidi Tromp-Buys, who has always been fascinated by the dysfunctional brain-gut connection and the association thereof with autoimmune diseases, has launched her book on Friday 8 November at the Anta Boga Hotel. “The world is changing at such a rapid pace and new information is becoming available daily to enhance your health,” she added. “When you have made BGS your own, you will notice the daily difference in your life. Have a Great Gut Feeling is very much focused on how the negative communication between your brain and gut leads to autoimmune disease, and how positive communication between your brain and gut can improve your health,” she added.

Heidi is a pharmacist who has also worked in retail. She came to the realisation that people who use anti-depressants or anxiety medication tend to use medication for the stomach or gut as well. Joubert added, “All the facts in the book are scientifically proven, they are the solution to the problem and very interactive with QR codes, which you scan on your smartphone and it will take you directly to a video.” With the help of her husband, who compiled the book to perfection, and her mother, co-author of the book, Heidi is also truly grateful to God, who she said, walked the journey with them. Have a Great Gut Feeling will soon be available on Takealot and Amazon and is also available on their website at
