Robbers failed to open an ATM with explosives in Botshabelo in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The police were called to the scene where the ATM bombing took place in T-Section.
Captain Tseko Mokgahle, police spokesperson, says they believe the explosives used were not strong enough to open the ATM machine.
Mokgahle says the machine was not damaged and no suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.
