A police officer is in a stable condition at the Bloemfontein Mediclinic after he was shot on his right arm and leg during an ATM bombing this morning, in Thaba Nchu.
Police spokesperson Consolation Mokoale says the incident happened at around 3am with about three ATMs being bombed. The police was patrolling near the scene when they bombing took place.
She says more or less than eight suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of money in a white Audi.
