President Cyril Ramaphosa made a new “BFF” earlier today when he received a teddy bear from a sick teenager who was overjoyed after her dream of meeting the president came true.
After months of arrangements by Reach for a Dream Kelopilwe Senokgomo’s dream came true as she met Ramaphosa earlier today at the house of the Free State Premier in Bloemfontein. Yolanda Brown, Free State and Northen Cape manager of Reach for a Dream told Bloemfontein Courant that it is clear that the president has a caring heart as he took time to listen to Kelopilwe’s future plans and also promised to help her achieve her dreams.
Reach for a Dream, together with Ramaphosa surprised 18-year-old Kelopilwe who was diagnosed with lupus last year. Kelopilwe wanted to meet the president to discuss better health care for her community of Thaba Nchu.
Kelopilwe dreams of helping others with life threatening diseases and wants them to be able to get the right treatment without having to travel far. Apart from health care, Kelopilwe discussed her future plans with the president who ensured her that he will be there every step of the way with whom he called his new “BFF” (Best friend forever).
