Taxi collision near Potchefstroom

Sixteen people have been injured this morning after two taxis collided head-on with each other on the N12, about 30km outside of Potchefstroom.

According to the ER24 Spokesperson, Werner Vermaak, two people were in a critical condition, while one was placed on life support and rushed to the hospital.

Vermaaks says all patients have been transported to the provincial hospital for further examination.

He says the exact cause of the accident is not known.
