The Treatment Action Campaign rejected Magashule’s solution to curb the health sector.
TAC’s provincial chairperson, Sello Mokhalipi, said Magashule doesn’t have a tangible plan to save the health sector’s problems.
“We have to fix the system rather than cover up the damages already done within the department. Health department needs to have its own budget and it needs to be properly administered. It is about time that Malakoane gave out answers. The premier’s approach to this matter is very wrong. He should start by stating the challenges, admit that he has visited the health department and mention his findings regarding the financial resources. He doesn’t give any explanations, he is speaking like somebody who is covering up the corruption that occurred within the department,” added Mokhalipi.
