The state of another heritage site in Bloemfontein will this afternoon come under the spotlight when opposition parties in the Free State legislature brief the media on the lack of developments at the Old Ramkraal Prison. The proposed site for the development of the new Free State Legislature complex was initiated more than seven years ago with little developments having taken place, and millions allegedly not accounted for. Opposition parties in the provincial legislature are lambasting the provincial government for neglecting this heritage site, coupled with delayed developments at the Bloemfontein City Hall which was torched three months ago. Leaders of the Democratic Alliance, Economic Freedom Fighters, and the Freedom Front Plus are today set to detail plans on how the provincial government should be held accountable.
