Sasolburg power and water being addressed today

SABRINA DEAN – The Metsimaholo Local Municipality has commended its engineers for working swiftly to ensure Sasolburg residents weren’t left in the dark last night.
This after a substation explosion caused thousands of rands of damage. Municipal spokesperson Gino Alberts says electricity was restored to most residential areas yesterday evening. He says certain industrial areas are still without power this morning but is hopeful that everything will be resolved during the course of the day.
Meanwhile residents are still being urged to boil water for drinking purposes as engineers continue repair work on a reservoir leak today. Alberts says certain parts of the town might suffer from low water pressure but says the bulk of the repairs should be completed by this evening.
