Centlec has informed residents that a loss of power supply at the Bloemspruit DC is currently affecting the Highveld, Lakeview and Mandela View areas.
According to the electricity utility, technicians have been dispatched to investigate and resolve the outage as quickly as possible. “We will provide updates on the estimated restoration time as soon as more information becomes available,” Centlec said in a statement.
The utility further warned residents that electricity may be restored without warning during the outage period and urged the public to treat all electrical installations as live and dangerous.
