Bloemfontein. – It is still unclear how much damage was caused when a fire gutted a spa at a guesthouse near Langenhovenpark in Bloemfontein last night.
Tertia de Bruin, whose husband Johan is the owner of Horizon Stables, says thankfully the flames did not spread to the guesthouse.
According to her most of the separate timber houses, which are operated as a spa, were destroyed in the fire. De Bruin says she was not at home last night and was alerted by a neighbour about the blaze.
Meanwhile, emergency services officials will start investigating the cause of the blaze this morning.
