The Bayswater Police Station in Bloemfontein, the Bronville Police Station in Welkom, as well as the Hertzogville Police Station, has had to temporarily shut their doors due to members testing positive for Covid-19.
The Community Service Centre will temporarily operate from the detective offices within the police station precinct in Bayswater.
The telephone lines at the station will not be accessible for the duration of the closure and residents may contact the police at 051 406 2649 or call the Station Commander, Lt Col Tyu, at 082 467 6081 for any emergencies and/or complaints.
The Bronville Police Station will also be operating from the Community Service Centre, which is located at the Bronville Community Hall.
The telephone lines at this station will also not be accessible for the duration of the closure. The Station Commander can be contacted at 082 465 2779 for any emergencies and/or complaints.
Communities serviced by the Hertzogville Police Station and want to access policing services, are advised to visit 31 Du Plessis Street, next to detective offices in Hertzogville.
According to a statement by SAPS, the community is advised to use this number 082 466 8527 for any emergencies and or complaints.
The abovementioned communities will be informed once the police stations have been decontaminated and are fully operational.
