Botshabelo Labour Centre temporarily closed amid shutdown

The Department of Employment and Labour in the Free State has announced the temporary closure of the Botshabelo Labour Centre due to the ongoing community shutdown in the area.

According to a statement issued by the department, the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of both employees and members of the public. “The Department is closely monitoring the situation and will assess when it will be safe for the Labour Centre to resume operations,” the statement read.

Residents have been encouraged to make use of the department’s online services while the office remains closed.
The department also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure.
