Residents are to brace for yet another heatwave this weekend.
The Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality (MMM) issued a heatwave warning that is valid from 2-4 November.
According to MMM, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a heatwave warning, stating that weather temperatures will soar over the weekend.
“All residents are urged to avoid direct exposure to the sun, to prevent dehydration, heat echaustion and/or heat stroke,” advised MMM.
Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities, and wear light appropriate clothing.
