The Bloemfontein Regional Court found a 35-year-old man guilty of incest charges and sentenced him to over ten years imprisonment. It was revealed in court that the accused had a sexual relationship with his 31 year old mentally challenged sister and fathered two of her children.
They both live together at their parental home in Rocklands, Bloemfontein. On 13 November, the accused was sentenced to over ten years imprisonment, with a 5-year suspension and conditions set by the magistrate and public prosecutor.
During the sentencing the court discovered that the accused was found guilty of the same charge in 2019.
