A man was killed in Park Road, Bloemfontein this morning, when a meter taxi collided with him in an accident.

Police spokesperson, Thabo Covane told Bloemfontein Courant that the driver was trying to get away from four men who he allegedly had an argument with and were throwing bottles at his taxi.

Covane said one of the four males was then bumped by the meter taxi. The deceased had a deep cut on his forehead and was declared dead on the scene by ER24 paramedics.

He further explained that the identity of the man is not yet known and a case of culpable homicide has been registered at Park Road police station. – Sazly Hartzenberg
