A grandmother of eighty from Qwaqwa in the Eastern Free State will receive a house built by Premier Ace Magashule.
Magashule promised her a dream home that he will construct with his own money. He chose her amongst hundreds of residents gathered this weekend at Boiketlo location, during his tour around the Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality. Following his state of the province address, Magashule said 100 disabled residents and elders will receive houses from the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs.
He later held a closed session meeting with the Manapo Hospital staff. Manapo was recently reported to have allegedly turned back residents because there were no services. Magashule further opened the household food and nutrition security programme of the Department of Social Development. A food bank and clothing bank will be established to support indigent residents.
There are 13 people who will work at the Qwaqwa and Welkom provincial food distribution warehouses. He opened Bluemgumbosch houses, the upgraded Tina Moloi Clinic and launched the Lusaka Sewerage Connection among other projects.
