Lotto winner will soon lose nearly R24 million

A Centurion resident who won millions in the lottery last year has been urged to claim their prize before the opportunity expires in September.

The National Lottery announced on 25 July that the winning ticket purchased on 19 September 2018 at the Shell Service Station in Amberfield, Rooihuiskraal, in Centurion had still not been claimed.

The lucky winner wagered R30 on a Quick Pick.

The lottery said the unclaimed prize of R23,744,139 would be forfeited on 19 September if unclaimed. Lottery winners are given a year to claim their prizes.
