GALOOME SHOPANE The petrol and motor industries may be losing money due to the strike undertaken by Numsa members, but to some hawkers this is a golden opportunity to make money.
One of the hawkers, Thabang Dichabe, who has been marching alongside Numsa members since they began, says he saw an opportunity where many people have gathered and thought to himself that he could make more money than he normally makes.
“I came here today because I thought business would be better than every day, I’m making a lot of money today, it’s going well,” says Dichabe.
Numsa members in Bloemfontein marched to the Retail Manufacturing Industry offices to hand over their memorandum to the employers’ organisation.
