Gift of the givers assisting with FS drought

A fleet of trucks with bottled drinking water is expected to arrive in the Free State as part of the disaster relief organisation, Gift of the Givers Foundation’s plans for drought relief in the province.

The foundation’s Imtiaz Sooliman says they received a request for help from Bethlehem on Friday.
The Free State province has been declared a disaster area last year and several towns have run out of water. Water restrictions and water shedding are in place in many areas.

Sooliman has invited South Africans and private companies to get involved in the Free State’s water crisis. – Cathy Dlodlo
