Bubbly socialite and Mangaung resident, Stephen Nketsi, will be laid to rest on Saturday morning. Nketsi’s funeral service will begin with the viewing of the body at house number 636 at the W-section in Botshabelo from 07:00 to 08:00.
Thereafter the church service will be held at the Dutch Reformed Church at U-section in Botshabelo.
Friends and acquaintances alike have expressed their condolences and disbelief on social media and many say he will be remembered for his larger than life personality, love for people, and friendliness.
His funeral service will be held at the Dutch Reformed Church where his memorial was held on Thursday afternoon. Nketsi’s body was found on 18 May 2017 at a pool in Botshabelo.
While police in the Free State stated that Nketsi drowned and there was no foul play suspected, his family has expressed their outrage at the police for communicating the details surrounding his death and post mortem results with Bloemfontein Courant when they had not been consulted on the matter.
