National Police Commissioner Khehla John Sitole, Free State Police, Roads and Transport MEC Sam Mashinini, Free State Director-General Kopung Ralikontsane, as well as the newly appointed Provincial Commissioner Moeketsi Sempe, were among the guests who attended the farewell function.
Sitole said Tsumane served well under his tenure in the Free State and he is certain that he will continue doing an excellent job at national level.
Tsumane now heads the detective services, forensic services and crime intelligence division.
Guests speakers at his prestigious farewell function all sang Tsumane’s praises and said the country has a true leader in him. The majority said everything goes orderly under Tsumane’s leadership and sets an example for many.
MEC Sam Mashinini added that he is confident Tsumane’s promotion brings stability and leadership in the fight against crime.
