Free State sports stars who have been excelling will be honoured at this year’s Free State Sports Awards which will be held on 16 August 2019, at 17:30 at the Free State Rugby Stadium.
The Free State Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation (DSACR) in partnership with the Free State Sport Confederation (FSSC) will present the 2019 edition of the Free State Sport Awards in a bid to reward the provinces sport stars for their efforts in keeping the passion of sport alive.
Their efforts in local, national and international sports events has made a special place for them in the hearts of millions of Free Staters.
The Free State Sport Awards have been created to recognise and honour individuals and teams who have excelled both on and off the field. The awards carry various categories which recognise individuals; males; females; people with disabilities; continental participants; federations; schools, indigenous games, media and community sport builders.
