The body of an unknown man was found over the weekend (on Friday) at the Sandrivier Golf Course in Virginia, which is over an hour out of Bloemfontein. It appeared the body had been at the scene for 4-5 days and was already in a state of decomposition.
The body was neatly dressed, with no visible injuries. According to police the circumstances of the man’s death look very strange.
Warrant Officer Malebo Kgosane says an inquest docket has been opened and further details on the case are still to follow.
